Our suppliers wholeheartedly believe in delivering high-quality organic ingredients, and our family believes in handling these ingredients with appreciation, imagination, and skill.

At Gralhof, Wednesday is known as a “free” day — a meat-free day. A day dedicated to conserving resources and lowering our CO2 footprint. A day to make a difference, a day with great flavors straight from nature. We love everything about it.

And because we are proud of what we do, we want to share this: our menus are designed according to seasonal availability, and we use every part of every ingredient — from the root to the stalk and from the tenderloin to the pork belly. Every part of the animal is worthy of being cooked!

On warm mornings, the day begins with a delicious breakfast in the garden, under the pear tree, overlooking the lake. During the colder months, our home-baked bread simply tastes better in the cozy dining room. Gralhof muesli with the finest Weissensee Farm yogurt — made just across the lake by the Haus Jakober Organic Farm — tastes even better with fresh apples and local honey. Our omelets are made with fresh chives straight from the garden and happy eggs from even happier chickens in Drautal valley — prepared with so much love, you simply have to try it!

The Gralhof breakfast buffet is open from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Every afternoon we pamper our guests with homemade pastries like our uniquely delicious cinnamon-apple strudel, plum strudel, Carinthian Reindling, cream cheese strudel with raisins, ice cream and coffee specialties, and a Carinthian plank Jause with Gralhof bacon, flavorful cheeses from the region, and other delicacies. Best of all, we use only organic and fair-trade products.

Coffee and pastries are available all afternoon starting at 1:00 p.m.

Our half-board special package includes a five-course dinner menu every evening, with flavorful vegetarian options available. Whether it’s fresh herbs from our own garden, organic fish from the Mölltal Valley, Gailtal Valley organic alpine cheese, veal and beef from the Gralhof organic farm, or game from our own hunt, carefully cleaned and expertly butchered, each and every item from our kitchen is carefully and lovingly prepared on site by Chef Michael Knaller and his colleagues.

The dinner will be served from 6:30 p.m.
